Review of Characterization.

The summary of concept 16 is basically the relation between the audience and the characters. Is there any kind of things or characteristics that we relate with the character? Can we see ourselves in their shoes is basically the main point.

concept 17: Relatable characters come from everywhere- Use the people you've met. Take aspects from each person.

concept 35: When losing isn't an option- obstacles are good, but they have to figure out a solution by the end.

concept 38: Characters enhance conflict. Conflict fueled by traits. Foil

concept 39: Characters change because of conflict.

concept 40: the way a character surpasses a challenge is more interesting than the challenge itself. Hero's Journey

African-Americans and Movies

In modern day society, African-Americans now play major roles in movies. Before segregation, blacks did not have lead roles and were usually in the 'backgrounds' of movies. Now in modern day, there are many famous black actors such as: Denzel Washington and Will Smith. In many ways they have improved, and there are many inspiring heart warming movies which even extend to very well constructed comedic movies. All in all, it was increased over a big percentage.
